Whatever your interest or size of your property, join the North Shore Forest Collaborative for an educational and fun workshop designed specifically for private landowners on the North Shore. This event is free and open to everyone.
This is the opportunity for landowners to sit down and discuss their property and objectives one-on-one with a professional forester or conservationist and potentially schedule a follow-up site visit to their property. These 15 to 20 minute sessions are scheduled to run throughout the day and during the after-workshop tours. Attendance at these sessions is limited and advanced registration is required. So sign up soon before all slots are taken. (see information below)
Landowners should bring any previously prepared management plans and any aerial photos you may have as well as your ideas and objectives for what you may want to do with your land. You can register online or by calling Duane Lula at 218-879-6638. When registering, please provide a legal description of your property, a platbook reference, or a physical address, so that we can print off aerial photos of your land.
